It pays to keep your eyes peeled... or ASK for things. But you don't know what you don't know, so I wanted to share a couple tips with you real quick - because I've missed out on A LOT of free money over the years. (Yes, I could kick myself - *sigh*)

First, I just got a "Big Fat Check" from Ebates. Yes, that's what they actually call it. :) It comes straight into my PayPal account though - it's not a paper check, although I think you can request that too.

If you are NOT using Ebates yet, you're really missing out. It's relevant in pretty much ANY niche too, so if you aren't telling your audience about it... you're making THEM miss out too. ;-)

I've made over $1200 ($1,274.27 to be exact) sharing it on my low carb blog, and of course using it myself. Even GoDaddy & Amazon are on Ebates, so you'll earn free money on practically everything you do online.

By getting referred in (by me) you'll get a free $10 in your account - and I'll get a referral credit too of course. So sign up if you haven't already! And if you DO have Ebates, be smart and activate it in any browser you use... so that it accumulates Cash Back for you automatically. 

My second tip, you've heard me say this before: "Everything is negotiable." I just discovered that credit card companies have "credits" they can apply to your account. I have no idea what they are or where they come from - but all you have to do is call and inquire about it and ask them to apply it. If you don't use credit cards, good for you! DON'T. :) The same goes for late fees. If you ever find yourself in a bind, or you simply forgot or misplaced something - just ask. More often than not they'll remove the late fee for you if you just ASK them to.

$289.32 - that's what I gained today through credits & Ebates combined. TODAY.
