I decided to get Vizully - did you? Just curious ;-)

This is the email I sent earlier when I was torn about it, but I did decide to get it. Did you??

I can't wait to play around with it. I'd love to hear what YOU think of it so far, and see what you're doing with it!

Send me a link to something cool you created. ;-)

Vizully is hitting the web pretty hard today BUT... do you REALLY need it?

I looked at it myself this morning and was totally drawn in, but - well, I'm torn on whether it's a good investment for my online business (or not).

I'll explain why, to help YOU make a smart decision too.

But first, in case you haven't seen it yet, watch this quick video.

Did you watch the video and scan over the details? It's cool.

And it's definitely priced right: super cheap!

Honestly, it was one of the bonuses that REALLY drew me in, and was worth the few bucks for the whole product - so there's that.

My stopping point: you can do *almost* all of that at Canva.com - for free.

Of course resizing for every social platform is VERY time consuming, and not all of the images are free to use (so that could really add up on you), and it DOES pay to upgrade to the premium (paid version) to make it faster & easier to resize your images for each use - for your blog posts, facebook, twitter, pinterest, instagram, etc, etc, etc.

And truth: I did upgrade to the paid premium version of Canva, and I *still* had a lot of editing to do, because the different size/platform versions didn't come out right. AT ALL. :P

Still, if you're a pro Canva user, and take the time to get a process down for creating your visuals and promotional images, Canva is an amazing resource. Even the free version offers you tons of free images to use, and gives you the templates for EVERY possible use - including: blog posts, Facebook covers/headers, infographics, posters, Instagram posts, you name it!

Canva is pretty awesome. :) Vizully is cool too, and the big perk: It will schedule & auto post to your social networks for you.

Speaking of Social Media graphics...

Tip: Your Facebook header/cover probably does NOT look right on both the mobile and desktop versions. I created mine in Canva (free), but even using their template that's supposed to be the recommended size... it was all whacky on the mobile version. And fact: the majority of my Facebook fans are viewing my page on mobile!

That was frustrating. :-9 But I found a quick fix. :) That free template & great advice worked like a charm, and it only took a few minutes to create a Facebook Page header graphic that loads beautifully on both desktop AND mobile versions!

While we're on the topic, I'll show you what I've been working with...

You NEED strong visuals online to get attention & make sales.

Nothing like stating the obvious, hey? ;-)

One of my favorite NEW resources for ANY graphic or visual you might ever need, is called Creative Market. It's a whole network of amazing designers that sell their work at ridiculously low prices.

Way lower than you can get on Fiverr, and top quality stuff too!

For example check out these Infographics, Webinar and Presentation Templates. See how low those prices are?! If you want high quality Infographics for Viral Social Campaigns, bingo! Or if you host webinars, or create informational videos, you cannot beat those Powerpoint and Keynote templates.

If you blog and you want to sell advertising (you should! I'm doing GREAT with that as a revenue source on my own niche blog!) then check out these Media Kit and Rate Card Templates to attract high-paying sponsors and advertisers.

Also, this guy has some Free Social Media Quote Templates if you look further down in the description area on his listing. :)

So... you have options.

Lots of options actually! I'll probably still get Vizully today because I like having a variety of resources and especially free images, backgrounds & graphics to use - because I can never get enough of those to illustrate my blog posts and use for social media updates.

Tip: If you DO get Vizully, you can easily make use of the HUGE collection of graphics & backgrounds with the program itself of course... but you could also upload those to your Canva account to use in even more ways. So there's another idea for you!

Okay, I just sold myself lol. The graphics collection alone is worth way more than the sale price today, plus I don't find Canva particularly easy to work with. So a better graphics editor with powerful features (and the time that saves me!) would definitely be worth it.

What do YOU think?
