New! Link Building, Automation & Google+

Published: Wed, 08/03/11

I shared some things on Facebook, but I'm not sure if you had a chance to see them - or see them all. There are just three that I really wanted to make sure you had a chance to check out.

First, if you're on Google+, you'll love this one:

http://www.findpeopleonplus.com

It's a directory where you can search for people by keywords, by name, and by all sorts of criteria. It's great for finding niche-specific people to add & follow. It's not a complete database of users, but it's been very helpful to me already!

Second is this must-read post on "Link Building in 2011" by Rae Hoffman:

And last but not least, Mike Filsaime just released a brand new "Evergreen Business System" that I've been checking out myself:

http://pwc2.com/rg

It's basically an automated webinar system where you can run "live events" without actually having to be online. You've seen these already, I'm sure. I have - and I wondered what tech they were using to set that up.

I'm interested to hear what you think of it.

I've been leaning toward switching to GoToWebinar for live webinars, which is around $100/month. This system is unlimited use (on unlimited domains) with no monthly cost.

It's great for hosting training events or a how-to series, and of course evergreen promotions (for your own products, or as an affiliate). It doesn't appear to support "live webinars" but you could easily take questions upfront to create an evergreen replay of a Q&A session.

It would be *great* for setting up a series that works very much like the traditional email autoresponder (or "e-course"), except MUCH more effective...

In fact, you could easily repurpose any current e-courses into live events or replays with this system. And if you don't have any yet, you might easily create some using Private Label Rights content. Just an idea!

We're discussing this on Facebook, and I would love to hear your thoughts:

If that page won't let you comment, it may mean you have to click the "Like" button on the main page first:

I'll see you there, and look forward to hearing your comments!
