On June 7th, I am turning 39. In usual style, I am celebrating my “birthday week” the entire first week of June. This one is particularly special, as it’s my last birthday in my 30′s.
I have ambitious goals, both personal and business, for the next year. For a long time now I have been looking forward to my 40′s decade, and everything I’ve been working toward leading up to it, so this birthday feels especially exciting. I have one last year to complete some goals so that I can step into my 40′s exactly how I’ve always envisioned.

My Plans Have Changed.
I originally planned to spend my birthday in New York, following the BlogWorld event. Unfortunately a number of things came up and I decided to cancel the trip, and transfer my ticket to their next live event in January.
While I have talked about some of the things going on in my life and business publicly, many I have not. Suffice it to say the last couple of months have been incredibly stressful. Once I finally came out on the other side of it all, I was mentally and emotionally exhausted. I took some time to rest and recover of course, and in hindsight… I’m very pleased with how I handled everything.
The timing couldn’t be better because I’ll now be spending my birthday week in all smiles, with a huge sense of relief, and excited about the year ahead!
