Find Legitimate Work At Home Opportunities Through Social Media Networks

Guest Post by Tammy Embrich

Real Writing JobsIn today's society work at home opportunities seems to be brimming the net due to the challenging economy recovering struggles.

Unemployment continues to rise and business buildings continue to close. It's no wonder people are scouring the Internet hoping to find their work at home solution.

There are indeed reputable ways to work from home successfully.

What most opportunity searchers don't know is where to look and how to go about obtaining a legitimate work at home opportunity. That's the real clincher. All too often, desperate people are venturing in too fast and getting scammed. They need to do some reading, (including the fine print).

Where and How To Find Legitimate Work at Home Opportunities?

I'm about to give you some useful tips...

With the rising popularity of the many social media networks comes a multitude of advantages and information. Take Twitter and Facebook for example; with the explosion of these two networks...there's enough information to make your head spin.

There are job posters on the social media websites every day. And it's so simple to find them! Take Twitter for example. With Twitter, you use hashtags to find what you're looking for. So if you're looking for a "work at home job" you would type in the various hashtags such as: #wah, #workathome, #jobs, #onlinejobs, #telecommute, #telecommuting, etc.

If you're looking for a "work at home opportunity," it doesn't necessarily need to be a "job." You can type in #wah, #opportunities, #wahopportunities, #makemoneyonline, #onlineopportunities, etc. You can also type in names of work at home companies with the appropriate hashtags.

You can find out more about hashtags at http://hashtags.org/.

The most important thing is to read a person's BIO or profile. If a person is affiliated with a certain company or a certain work at home website that you're interested in, you will need to check them out and their tweets and Facebook postings.

If you find someone on the various social networking sites that you know will benefit you in a work at home opportunity, find out if they have an email posted. Email them with your interest and a resume (if you have one). You will find most companies DO require resumes, and also for some a cover letter.

There's also LinkedIn and MySpace, and various work at home blogs to check out.

One Last Thought - Be open minded when you're looking for any type of money making opportunity. There are many options out there. Just as one example, don't close your mind off from "paid to read" or "paid survey" opportunities. If you work with enough of them, you stand a chance at making a nice amount of cash. There are also tons of affiliate programs and article writing websites to look into.

Don't rule anything out until you've checked it out thoroughly.

Good luck with your search!
