THE Internet Marketing Event of the Year!

Marketing Mayhem 2014I just returned from Marketing Mayhem Live in Orlando, which I heard many people call THE internet marketing event of the year - and I totally agree. It was an amazing experience, start to finish!

I've been looking for a GREAT event for awhile now. This is it. Period. Go ahead and make note now, and plan to attend the next one. You'll be SO glad you did. ;-)

What did I love about it, and why do I recommend you attend the next one? I'll tell you, but I'll keep it brief because my brain is FULL of amazing ideas I'm anxious to implement, including "the secret sauce" I started studying the minute I got home...

This quote that I just read this morning is really suiting:

“Who you associate with is more important than you could ever imagine. Do not accept anything less than the best – otherwise you are cheating yourself. Research shows that when you spend time with people who are succeeding that you too will succeed. ” -EarlyToRise.com

I'm sure you've heard something similar before. Your associations are such a valuable part of your life and business, and Marketing Mayhem Live is one place to make high quality connections and solidify some of the best professional associations you can imagine. The networking aspect alone is well worth it, and was actually one of my four objectives with this particular event. I was not disappointed. ;-)

MML is a who's who event. Some of the best minds (and pioneers) of the industry attend this event. Unlike some events though, there are no cliques. It has a very social atmosphere and everyone there was very open, and very available.

The whole event, start to finish, had a great vibe with high energy. There were tons of cool people and everyone there had an amazing time. One thing I heard over and over was how much people were looking forward to coming back again. Including me!

Anything or anyone you might need... was at this event. From technical minds to publishing books to "idea sharing" & brainstorming - you name it. Whatever your objective or current business goals, you can easily connect with all the right people to fast-forward your plans.

It was almost like a reunion for me, and a great opportunity to meet people in person I've known or worked with over my 17+ years in business online. I also met tons of new people I can't wait to follow up with, and see again at the next MML event!

Vanilla Ice @ Marketing Mayhem Live in OrlandoThe Entertainment, Socializing & Venue were awesome. There was an 80's Theme Party on Friday night, and entertainment by Vanilla Ice on Saturday night. He didn't just perform either, he hung out with the crowd and really made a night of it. It was a very intimate party and everyone had a blast!

The venue was fabulous too. Everything was super convenient. There was plenty of food, a great outdoor patio area for after hours chats, easy access to Starbucks and shops - pretty much everything you would need or want for the few days you're there.

The Content: Highly Actionable and Top Level.

The stage was not a platform for professional speakers, but for successful marketers sharing their insights from in-the-trenches experience.

The event kicked off with a session by Aiden Booth, the all-time JVZoo launch record holder, for example. I didn't attend every session, but I made it a point NOT to miss this one.

I actually got locked out of my room when I came down for a coffee, and time was short - so I attended this one in my PJ's, lol. It was worth it. I'm glad I didn't miss a single minute of it!!!

I also caught Mike Filsaime's presentation, which was SO practical. He walked step by step through the elements of a VSL (Video Sales Letter).

Awesome stuff. I took tons of notes on that one too.

Immediate HappinessAnd then there was Anil Gupta...

I almost regretted sitting in on this session because it was highly emotional. Seriously. The entire room was totally engaged. He shared some of the most profound, yet simple, life-changing concepts.

This is another one I'm really glad I did not miss.

He's the author of Immediate Happiness which you can get on Amazon as a hard copy or for your Kindle.

I'm ordering a hard copy today and it will get my FULL attention the minute it arrives.

Check out the reviews for yourself.

The content definitely gets two thumbs-up from me, which is saying a lot. With more than 17 years experience in online business and marketing, it's hard for me to find an event where even I can take notes and learn new strategies to implement in my own business. Yet at the same time, it was all so practical that anyone on any level would benefit from the content. Marketing Mayhem Live is a must-attend. Period.

The event was very well done from start to finish, and the JVZoo team are awesome hosts. Pulling off a GREAT event is no easy feat, but they went all in on this one - and created the ideal experience for everyone involved. I saw nothing but smiles, hugs high-fives and serious deal-cutting the entire weekend.

As a final note, it was brought up that there were no women speaking this time. There was a great gender mix in the audience though, and I know they're looking for some power women to add to their line-up in the near future. So if you're a woman and you'd like the opportunity to speak, my advice: make it a point to pull some serious numbers on the JVZoo platform and make your mark! :D

As for me personally, gender is a total non-issue. I'm only interested in the brains. But I can tell you firsthand that these guys are NOT "sexist" and they're super friendly:

My ONLY regret? That I didn't take more photos. I was too busy talking, taking notes, jotting down ideas, getting to know interesting people, etc. I wish I had snapped more pics... but there's always next time.

And you can bet your domain collection I'll be there. ;-)

I'm sure there will be recordings you can order, and I've heard rumor there may be another Marketing Mayhem Live event before next Fall (possibly on the west coast, even!) so stay tuned. I'll let you know the details as soon as I get them myself.

Best,

Oh - and don't forget to check out The Secret Sauce with Matt Bacak and Lee Collins. I had a great time catching up with them both in person at MML, and while I got some great tips from them over those conversations... their "secret sauce" has been totally blowing my mind since I returned. :D Check it out. Enjoy!!
